Resettable Thermal Cut-off Fuse
An inline, self-resetting thermal fuse embedded directly into the primary winding. It automatically turns the transformer off if internal temperatures exceed safe operating limits, then automatically turns it back on once the transformer cools down — no replacement needed. This prevents fire or severe overload hazards while keeping your transformer reusable.
High-Temperature Insulation
Upgrades standard Class B insulation to Class F/H materials (high-temp wire enamel, Nomex/Mylar wrap, and heat-resistant lead cables) designed to safely endure elevated operating environments up to 155°C–180°C.
Vacuum Varnish Impregnation
Submerges the wound transformer in electrical varnish under a vacuum chamber. This completely fills air voids inside the core and windings to eliminate mechanical buzz/hum, enhance heat dissipation, and protect against moisture.
5kV Isolation Barrier
Multiple layers of Kapton (polyimide) tape are wound between the primary and secondary to create a reinforced dielectric barrier rated to withstand 5kV. Kapton's high dielectric strength and thermal stability make this build compatible with medical-grade isolation requirements for patient-connected and clinical equipment.
